One filled out form = one item in the library, regardless of how many items you have in a repeating table. There is no way to change this behavior. It is possible to save data from InfoPath to a SharePoint list, and that would get your repeating data into the list. Most options you'll find if you search for this online will require code (or qRules). Here's a video on a codeless approach, however - while the video talks about an XTP, a similar approach could be used in a form. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oQ7QdpYdx8

Re: Saving Rows of Repeating Table (InfoPath 2007) to Sharepoint 2010 Form Library

No need to be sorry, communicating by boards is difficult. In a form library, with promoted properties, you will get one item (row) per submitted XML. If you promote repeating fields, you can "merge" the data, so your one item (row) per XML might have a number of entries in that single column. Say your column is Department, and it is promoted from a repeating table with a field "Department" and set to be merged, the values in the column may look like:

R & D, Human Resources, Silly Walks

Re: Saving Rows of Repeating Table (InfoPath 2007) to Sharepoint 2010 Form Library

You mean all the columns with the all the rows will appear?

Re: Saving Rows of Repeating Table (InfoPath 2007) to Sharepoint 2010 Form Library

Okay - you are talking about promoted properties here, I think. You can set those columns to "merge" instead of "first" and all the values will display.

Saving Rows of Repeating Table (InfoPath 2007) to Sharepoint 2010 Form Library

Hello:

I am trying to save multiple Rows of a Repeating Table (InfoPath 2007) to Sharepoint 2010 Form Library ... without the use of code (company techno doesn't allow Sharepoint Designer, VB, etc.)

All the column names in the table are available in Sharepoint, but only the first row appears to successfully be "saved". I searched "data in infopath repeating table not saving" and "saving infopath repeating table to Sharepoint form library" and didn't see anything relevant. I also clicked "Related" posts.

Thanks in advance.
