Everything seemed to be fine except that I have a text field that, once the form was submitted, kept cutting off after a certain point. Not knowing any better, I tried to edit the field/column in SharePoint to allow the field to accept more characters. Then, when editing the form in InfoPath, I got a message that the form couldn't sync with the form library anymore. So I deleted the original field and added a new one on SharePoint, thinking I could point the form to the new field/column I wanted to use. So far, I can't find a way to tell the form which field on SharePoint it is that I want to get populated with the information inputted in the corresponding field on the form after it is submitted.

I hope this explanation is clear. I'm sorry if I should have posted this elsewhere or if this is a common question - I searched the Newbie section and couldn't find any answers.

Thanks for any help!

Edited to add: many search results I've come across refer to a Tools menu and a Form Options button, but this is nowhere to be found in InfoPath 2010 as far as I can tell.
