Figured it out, removed all code, security: restricted, send the whole package to everybody.

Good afternoon all!

I am not a long time reader, but in the last 4 weeks i have spent hours on your site which is rich with information, thank you for that, very helpfull and encouraging.

Context : I am part of the major IT incidents "fire brigade"; during any major IT outages (Immediate financial or image loss) i and my teammates must sent major incidents advisories to the company execs several times over the duration of the incident with status updates.

Constraints :
- Any teammate must be able to grab the last notice that was sent, amend/update it and send update.
- The recipient CANNOT be sent the full template, must be sent snapshot.
- The "FROM:" address that sends the email is a shared mailbox EX: ITfirebrigade@company.com thus, data connection sending to users unusable (so far).

Question :

When "send to recipients" is clicked, how can i send the snapshot to some users and send updatable copy to my team mates in case they have to take over from me and not have to save all those form templates ? (thousands a year).

I feel that we have overcome huge challenges using IP, this is the ultimate hurdle. I'm not even sure if i should be looking towards infopath or outlook for the solution.

Vitals: Infopath 2007, outlook 2007, no sharepoint, reason i wont send full template to users: very heterogenous security settings on computers company wide, some will get the security warning when they open the advisory full screen from outlook (thats a big nono).

I can always spot missing obvious info from others peoples questions but when it comes to mine nothing comes to mind!!! so let me know if there is critical info missing from my post, looking forward to reading you all.

PS: i tried the rule that says if the person that open the template is not from firebrigade (AD roles) then they get the read only version but the only place i found to trigger it is at document open and am not even 100% sure that some users wont get the warning (security warning due to rules and drop downs and formulas in the form :(
