And, it should fire when the secondary data source gets loaded. Just go to the data source, select the repeating group in your data fields and add the rule there. You could simply add the rule to the link and have it replace, but be careful because it will continue firing so you'll need to set some other condition so that it only fires once.

Re: list attachment URL which includes a space character

Thank you so much Patrick! The translate function is what I need. Now if I could just figure out where to put it. The list attachment URLs are in a repeating table. I don't see where I can apply a function to incoming data. Seems I need a second control that is grabs each URL and translates it. I haven't been able to grab anything other than the first URL. is this doable without code? Thanks again.

Re: list attachment URL which includes a space character

how about adding a Fx to your link with the function translate(field, ' ', '%20') ?

list attachment URL which includes a space character

I’ve published an InfoPath 2010 browser-enabled form to
SharePoint in order display a SharePoint list, which may include with attached documents. The links to the attachments displayed by
InfoPath Form Services work properly unless the filename includes a
space character – it seems that InfoPath is not converting the space to “%20” (works properly from InfoPath Preview, just not from published form).

Does anyone know a simple workaround for this? We’re not allowed to use code behind our
InfoPath forms. Thank you!
