I recently used sections to hold "help text". Then I had a check box that would show/hide the section (via a formatting rule). I labeled the check box "Show Help". People liked this stuff.

Re: Create help to fill out form.

Hi KingGuru and welcome,

Just type the help text directly into the view inside a section that you hide show and you can insert links and format the text as is. Since this is help text, you don't want this in your main data source, right? Or, are you talking about loading the help from a secondary data source? If so, yes, you can use rich text and display it. We have samples of both. I'm attaching a sample of the first approach.

Create help to fill out form.

I'm looking into ways to create help to my form. How to fill out the data, and what I'm looking for.
I have some helptext with a link included. .. let's say something like
"infopath dev is a great site for help.
This site contains bla bla"
In this text I want infopath dev to link to www.infopathdev.com. and I want multiple lines.
Is this possible to do in a rich text box, or a simple textbox.. and if so.. how?
(I have been thinking about screen tip. but that's going to be a mess with links included.)
