If you published a form from IP2010 into SP 2013, then you have to open that form in IP2010 again to make changes. The customize button is not connected to this form.

It is kinda confusing why that created 2 ways of doing forms AND they have different options and fields that you can use. The customize form is very limiting so most of us do not use that option. We open IP, create the form, upload, make changes in IP and publish the changes. Look at http://www.wonderlaura.com/ book on InfoPath and SP. She explains the difference and why to use which type of form.

editing a sharepoint 2013 list with Infopath 2010

Hi

As the title suggest, it is possible to customise a sharepoint 2013 list with infopath 2010, I created a custom list on SP2013 and when pressing customise form, its open a 2nd Internet browser

with this in the address bar ms-infopath:csl|u|https://myservername|l|{58822998-4EDE-4C0C-A4AD-CE0C86D8D1CF} I guess it is trying to open infopath with the server name and List ID instead of launching infopath 2010.

I can create a blank form using infopath 2010 and publish it to SP2013 site, but again when trying to customise form, it opens the browser and not the infopath.

My first thoughts are Work PC restrictions, i.e. the pc blocking the launch of the application, however has anyone experienced this problem/ has a resolution.

Thanks in advance

SB
