Today I got an auto update from windows-office. PROBLEM SOLVED. After the update and restart I noticed that my OUTLOOK didn't ask to download a tmp file. When I try to open an Infopath form everthing was working as it should be.

I have to correct a part of my infopath issue. Besides i can't create a new form, it is also IMPOSSIBLE to create a new Form Template. Got an error message "some of the custom controls cannot be used" "You can continue working with these controles or you can modify them. But after pressing OK i got the message "Infopath has encountered an error. The operation failed

Yes I did. I even removed the whole Office 2007 Ultimate from my system. After install the whole Office 2007 Ultimate I noticed a few things: 1. it doesn't ask for activation the product 2. all outlook data is still there. another thing: when I change the Icon Size in the Tools Customice menu i see in Outlook aswell as in Infopath the Icon Size changes. Around the same time as I found the problem with Infopath also my Outlook behaviour is weird. When I go to my inbox, sent items box-notes box or whatever box I get a popup with a message in it to save a MSO*****.tmp file. The ***** changes everytime. So what I was thinking naybe it has a relation with Outlook maybe?!

On the 15th of may I could still make new forms. Today 27th of May I wanted to fill a form which I use to make my bills. For some unknown reasons I is impossible to get the form on my screen. I use Infopath on a local win7 machine. When I try to open I get a message "Infopath has encountered an eror. Operation failed." When I try to design a new form or I want re-design a form I get also a message: "Some of the custom controls cannot be used, you can continu working without these custom controls, or you can modify them. When I checked the details I get four times Invalaid Syntax and the last sentence is "The control definition file does not have a valid format." I allready spend three days to find a solution. But without any success. Maybe it started after a windows update?! I don't know. But maybe someone can help me to solve this problem. Frank
