I have a computer within my workplace that just simply will not open a file from Sharepoint 2010.l There has been no alterations to the template. I am using this template for purchase requisitions. Interesting enough, clicking on an existing file, if you right click and manually select open file, you are prompted with open, save as, save etc and the file opens successfully. This does not work on the create new document link. Left click within IE says the webpage cannot be displayed. Left click within Chrome it says error loading the form:

The following location is not accessible, because it is in a different site collection: http://cspweb01p/Finance/Purchasing/PurchaseRequisitions/Forms/template.xsn?SaveLocation=http://snobiz/Finance/Purchasing/PurchaseRequisitions/&Source=http://snobiz/Finance/Purchasing/PurchaseRequisitions/Forms/AllItems.aspx&ClientInstalled=false&OpenIn=PreferClient&NoRedirect=true&XsnLocation=http://CSPWEB01P/Finance/Purchasing/PurchaseRequisitions/Forms/template.xsn.

Mozilla also does not work, so we know it is not a browser error. We also know its not a problem with the template because there is no changes to the template and it works on every other computer. Each computer trying to open this infopath file has infopath filler 2010 installed in the OS. The only difference I notice is that this computer has sharepoint designer on it. The computer is within an Active Directory and we tried moving it into new groups to get it inherit new group policies to see if it was a permissions issue. This also did not work. We also reinstalled infopath and installed it again over and over along with the rest of the microsoft suite.

Is it possible that sharepoint designer is causing a conflict? or does anyone have any other ideas???

Thanks again,
