I have worked out the pattern and the pattern is picking up any character which is not part of the UTF-8 encoding.
Here is the pattern :- "[^\u0000-]|[^\u0000-]*|.*[^\u0000-].*"

Validate an infopath from UTF-8 Encoding

Hello People

I am just getting my hands on to Infopath so need your expertise on the below issue.
I have a validation on a text field in (Infopath 2007) for UTF-8 encoding. I am doing it from the frontEnd using this expression [^\u0000-].
To get the funny charcter press alt + number 1 +number 2
Infopath did validate the first character but not the whole string. I have few combination using ".", ^$ but woithout any luck.
Can some one please point me towards the right direction?

Thanks in advance.
