There is a free trial download on Qdabra dot com. No Web services needed and works fine in the browser plus contains over 130 other useful commands.

But, to anwer your question, first of all, if the site is cross-domain, try adding it to local intranet sites (not trusted sites). That should resolve the issue. If not, maybe you are using it from a browser form. If so, you may need to convert the link into a UDC file and set up credentials in the UDC file to allow it to get to the site.

On the other hand, you are probably publishing the XLS to the same site, so you shouldn't have to add it to local intranet or trusted sites. Just make sure the security for form you are publishing is set to domain trust.

Good luck!

Getting trusted file location issue even after configuring the trusted file location.

Hi,

I am trying to work on infopath 2010 with excel services. For that i followed the link : http://blogs.technet.com/b/jessmeats/archive/2009/12/01/infopath-and-excel-services.aspx

But i could not succeeded by doing that and getting the following error.

"The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: OpenWorkbook
InfoPath cannot run the specified query.
The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred on the server:
This workbook cannot be opened because it is not stored in an Excel Services Application trusted location."

I have already added the document library to trusted locations . But still facing the issue. Could you please help me out.
[followed this approach for this : http://stepbistep.net/2012/06/28/this-workbook-cannot-be-opened-because-it-is-not-stored-in-an-excel-services-application-trusted-location-sharepoint-2010/]

[Note: Why i am trying this example is, i need to calculate business workdays (excluding holidays)...here i want to give option to change holidays by client. For that i am trying to use NETWORKDAYS fucntionality of excel via excel serveces....]

Please help me out.....

Regards,
KV
