It's easy enough to have her run the Office repair and make sure she has enough free space.

If that doesn't work, try searching Microsoft's KB site for a bug report...

Sorry I couldn't give you a silver bullet.

Error for one user - Process Cannot Open File Because it is Being Used by Another Process

Good day,
I found a previous post on this, but the possible solution doesn't work for us. I thought I'd see if anyone else had options.

One user, who has not ever been on our sharepoint/infopath site, is unable to open a submitted form. She receives that damnable Process cannot open file error. When she tries to create a new request, it tells her IP cannot open a new form and to contact the designer. She had an additional problem inmeshed in this one, but the trouble-shooting steps I took, fixed that error (Before getting the process error, she was getting the "you don't have permission/someone else has form open" error).

We're on IP 2010 using a filler form that is published to a MOSS 2007 site.

Here's the trouble-shooting I've done:
1. She cleared her IE8 cookies, history and files (fixed the permission error)
2. Cleared Infopath Cache (Programs > Run > infopath /cache clearall
3. Fully restarted
4. Opened infopath filler to reconnect the form, but she doesn't have ANY recent files showing up when she opens IP filler
Oh, and yes, she does have permission for the site and form.

I'm now at a loss. Any ideas out there? I'll even take issues with how our IT set up her account as she has apparently run into a slew of other problems (she's new) accessing things. So, if you've seen anything connected to a person's actual account, I'm game.

Thanks!
Jen
