I'm working for Insurance client and we have a Infopath form which is developed and in production. Now as we entered the new year they had few modifications to the form ( few fields and sections were to be removed) and publish it as a new template to a different library, where users can create new forms based on the new template and the old library is archived. In few cases the user without filling out the entire form again can get into the old library and open the form which they filled last year and can click on the copy button which inturn copies all the fields and creates a new working copy and user can modify the existing data and fill out some additional information in the form and hit submit. In this case the form has to be submitted to the new library which has a new template. Is there a way i can write a script in the ("On click") event of the copy button to copy all the fields to the new template in the new library and load it whenever the user hits the copy button on the existing form ?? How can i do it. ?? This form is being developed in Jscript. Additional Information: right now i have created a different view in the old template "Copy View" which is same as the new form template and switching the view to "Copy View" whenever the user clicks the copy button. And after filling out the form, Submit button will submit the form to the new library. But the problem is it is still based on the old template though it is same as the new form template. Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks Satish..
