In particular, dropdown lists that are used as&nbsp;query fields!!! Regular dropdown lists do not&nbsp;appear to be affected by this.</p><ul><li>My forms are being published to SharePoint 2010.</li><li>My forms are being edited with InfoPath Designer 2010.</li></ul><p>To clarify further, when a queryfield&nbsp;dropdown list is getting choices&nbsp;using the <strong>Get choices from an external data source</strong>, this option continually gets changed to <strong>Get choices from fields in this form</strong> which always results in a publishing error. This occurs if I close and reopen the form for editing or if I change views within the form.&nbsp;The workaround is to once again select <strong>Get choices from an external data source</strong> and then re-publish.</p><p>Is there a way to ensure that these connections don&#39;t continually&nbsp;reset? Is this a security measure? Or is there simply something I am doing wrong?</p><p>I&#39;ve only been using InfoPath 2010 for about a week so I apologize in advance if I have missed the obvious answer.</p><p>Thank you.</p>
