I guess I'm a little confused about your requirements. Out of the box, InfoPath won't do that - you can include the template you are filling out with an email connection - you may just need to use different views in the same template with some form logic to open the correct one based on your drop down selection.

Sending templates when certain text is selected

Hi,

Is it possible to recieve some assistance with the following please; (I will use a random situation for a better understanding)

I am creating a form in infopath designer (2010) and will publish it onto sharepoint 2010.

Form example

Visitors Information

Visitor Name; (typed it) Visiting: (people picker)

Department: (drop down list) Area: (Drop down list; Birmingham, Sheffield or London)

WOULD LIKE;

This form will generate an automatic email to the person who is being visited. When the area is clicked on; Birmingham for example, I would like a template of 'Bournville Map' to automatically be attached so when the email is sent, the bournville map template will also be sent.

So originally, Im guessing the three maps; Birmingham map, Sheffield map and London Map will have to be on the system somewhere already.

I hope this makes sense. If further info is needed, please ask.

Thanks for your time and response in advance.

What i would like is that when a user clicks a certain text (from a drop down list) a template will automatically attach to it.
