Trying to convert a Cross Refrence list in a word table to an interactive InfoPath form.

Row and column names area the same list of items.

Pick the Item Row, then pick the column. Return value from Row/Column intesection.

Order of selection matters. Row 3/Column 4 could have different value than Row 4/Column3.

Simlar to a "Distance Between Cities" chart on a printed road map.

User would select "City A" from the drop down list.

Then select "City B"

Result would provide a number used to determine next action.

A to B might be a different path than B to A so distance could be different.

Can't figure out a way to tell infopath, If Item1 = 4 and Item 2 = 17 find field 17 in record for Item4 (Row 4/17Column)

as above if Item 1 = 17 and Item 2 = 4 then find field 4 in row 17 result may be different value.

Values are predetermined in the list.

Just need a method to retreive the specified value properly.

Any help would be appreciated.
