That might be safer. Don't worry about the question being confusing - it can be hard to know what to include.

Re: Filter a repeating table from a secondary source

It appears I was using Conditional Formatting and I am only displaying rows based on a field computed off a date. The real issue is dates are now including a time zone designation which breaks my condition.

Old format 2012-11-16T00:00:00

New format 2012-11-16T00:00:00-05:00

At the moment, I am not sure if something in Windows 7 changed or something in InfoPath 2010 changed.

Sorry if my original question was unclear, but I was lost :(

Re: Filter a repeating table from a secondary source

When you say "filtered" - do you mean using the filter option on a repeating table? I actually won't use that because I found it caused problems in browser forms sometimes, but had never bother to track down when the issues occurred. I use conditional formatting to hide rows instead.

Filter a repeating table from a secondary source

In the past week I have had several forms break and they all have one thing in common. They have a repeating table based on a secondary data source that was filtered. The forms were all developed in InfoPath 2007 and have not been changed for many months. I have seen several posts on filtering secondary data sources and I believe that is the technique that I used. However, when I attempt to modify the design of the forms in InfoPath 2010 it appears that you can no longer filter secondary data sources.

Several InfoPath 2010 patches came out last week and we removed the patches and it fixed some of the forms but not all of them.

Can anyone confirm that filtering secondary data sources was removed from InfoPath 2010?
