A lot of times for more complex conditions, after creating the condition, I change the first drop down to "The expression" - then InfoPath will display the actual XPath being used. From there, I copy all my different conditions out into a text editor so I can group them and add "and" and "or" (be sure to use lower case for those words!) as necessary. It is a bit of work, but gets me out of the UI (which I find clunky) and allows me to group things as I need them in a way that makes sense to me.

Conditions under rules or conditional formatting

Hi,

I am not new to the Infopath. But i am wondering since a very long time how to handle the rules.

For ex: i have a condition like below.

if((Condition1 And Condition2) And (Condition3 Or Condition4) Or(Condition5 And Condition))

How can set the above condition under a rule. I am really frustrated changing up and down the written conditions.

Is there a way to specify the above condition in infopath rules or Conditional formatting.

Help us.
