Some configuration required, but there's plenty of documentation available, for example: http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/qrules/entry75348.aspx

Thanks!

Split string into certain text boxes

Hi

I use InfoPath 2007, 've a form including a repeating table what is filled with user data through a web service. The repeating table contains certain columns, interesting is only one of them, the UserID coloumn. I've concatenated the UserID coloumn as a sting in a text box.

formula: substring(eval(eval(ID[. != ""]; 'concat("; ", .)'); ".."); 2)

textboxIDs: Z0009FZJ; Z001PM2H; Z0007T1C; Z002WHFE; Z002WHFE

That works fine. But at the end I don't need the UserID's, I need the Emails of those UserID's. For that I've another web service to retrieve emails by UiserID. But to retrieve an email via the webservice I can send out only one UserID at one time. That means I've to to that sequentially. Doesn't matter. But at first I need to split the textbox again into several UserID's. But I don't know how to do that? I think I'm not far away from a solution..

textboxIDs: Z0009FZJ; Z001PM2H; Z0007T1C; Z002WHFE; Z002WHFE  seperate them into ---> text box1:Z0009FZJ     text box2:Z001PM2H   text box3:Z0007T1C and....

Or, should I insert another reapting table (main source) and populate rows, depending on the filled UserID's? How does this work or any other ideas?

Or, should I translate, adding an count() to every ID, eval or whatevr?

Cheers
