Its a filler form. If I open the form using InfoPath 2010 designer, I could successfully submit the form to the form library as well as Access backend database. This is fine, working as expected.</p><p>However, when I open the form using InfoPath designer 2007, it keeps saying:</p><p><strong>Some rules were not applied</strong></p><p><strong>InfoPath cannot submit the form.</strong></p><p><strong>An error occurred while the form was being submitted</strong></p><p><strong>InfoPath cannot connect to the data source.</strong></p><p><strong>InfoPath has encountered an error. The operation failed.</strong></p><p><strong></strong> </p><p>the form is a database template form that submits to the access 2003 database. The submit button has some rules:</p><p>rule 1: submit to the database using Main connection</p><p>rule 2: submit to form library appending some field values using concat fxn.</p><p>rule 3: show dialog message saying form submitted.</p><p>I m not sure why I keep on getting the same error while trying to submit the form using IP Designer 2007? What rule/s applied to my submit button is not working in InfoPath 2007 form. How do I make sure it works as expected as shown in 2010 designer?</p><p>All my form filling people use 2007 designer. So I need to make sure it works fine in 2007 too. Please let me know. Thanks.</p>
