It has a command called SaveToSharePoint that allows you to save images and attachments into a SharePoint server or a network location. You can design your form such that attachments get uploaded to a different library, and then return back just the link to it.

Check out this video tutorial to see if it is what you're looking for.

Show attachment as a link (in a different area) on InfoPath form

In SharePoint, we have a list item that is an InfoPath form. A user will create a new list item. On the list item, there is an attachment control. The user will fill out the form and always add an attachment (it is required). A workflow will send notification to another user to approve the form. When the second user opens the form, can I:

1. Hide the attachment control, as it will not be needed anymore

1. Have the attachment that was uploaded show up on the bottom of the form and show it as a link that opens the attachment when clicked, without prompting to save it.

3. Have the user be able to make edits in the attachment and be saved back to the server when submitted, without re-uploading the form.

How can I do these things please? I am very new to InfoPath and SharePoint and pretty much do not know how to do anything other than creating a simple form. If someone can explain how to do this, I would greatly appreciate it, or if there is a link that describes exactly I want, that would be great also. I've tried searching and so far, no luck.
