Hi -

You'll need to instead get the row from the secondary data source that has the same id....

Your dropdown probably has the SharePoint ID for the value, and the machine name for the display. You'll want to set the other field to the machine name field from that secondary data connection where the ID in the secondary data connection is equal to the field in your main data source that the drop down is bound to. I hope that makes sense - if you need help, just attach your form to the Options tab and I can give you a hand.

Hi,

I've got a Dropdownlist that gets populated by another list on the sharepoint Server.
When the user selects an entry (names of different machines)
the name should also appear in another Textfield.

My idea was to set the standard value of the textfield
to ../my:Machine (Machine is the name of the Dropdown list)

But instead of giving me the name of the machine it only gives me the ID (numbers).
