If necessary, our moderators will make sure it gets classified in the correct board.enCommunityServer 2007 SP3 (Build: 31118.962)Get selected Sharepoint 2010 user profiles in table form into InfoPathhttps://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/76902.aspxTue, 27 Mar 2012 15:54:20 GMT033a2e2d-04e2-4a9d-be01-a4634161eefd:76902A1exp0https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/76902.aspxhttps://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=41&PostID=76902<p>Scenario (also posted in MS InfoPath Forum): </p><p>-I currently drag SharePoint user info into InfoPath 2010 (browser forms) via a mixture of the SharePoint User Profile and QdabraAD web services</p> <p>-These forms are used to process user additions/edits/deletions for our company and are working fine</p> <p>-I only use it currently to get a single user&#39;s details at any one time (Using a people picker and then pulling details for the chosen user) as each form deals with a single user</p> <p>-I now have the requirement to pull details for multiple users into InfoPath 2010 based on a set criteria (e.g. Group Membership) as I want to allow a user to &quot;mass-edit&quot; details for all staff in a specific group.</p> <p>-I currently pull a list of the users that I want into InfoPath using the QdabraAD web-service (using GetMembersOfGroup) but I can&#39;t pull in the additional info from the other data source</p> <p>How would I go about retrieving the extra info from the SharePoint user profiles web-service?</p> <p>If it was code I know I need to iterate though the results of my QdabraAD query and look up each returned user against the SharePoint user profiles web-service to get additional information such as telephone number/office etc</p> <p>Is this possible with InfoPath to &quot;join&quot; two data sources in this way?</p> <p>I also tried using nested tables/sections and rules to set fields and query the user-profiles web-service each time but it just didn&#39;t work. </p> <p>Is the only solution a custom web-service?</p> Any help gratefully received!
