URL not working when sent from Outlook 2007

Hello dear InfoPath community,

for a long time I haven't used the forum, but in the past it has been my saviour many times. So, once again i would like to share my knowledge and problems with you.

I have built a relatively complicated tool with SharePoint and InfoPath 2003, containing many libraries and lists. It has been working very well but unfortunately as well all know, problems occur all the time. This tool is used by a lot of people im my organization and some of them recently upgraded their Outlook from 2003 to 2007. One of the key functionalities of my tool, is that automatic emails are sent to users, having URLs to different documents, which the user can directly access from the recieved emails. However, with Outlook 2007, these URLs does not appear as a hyperlink in any emails send from Outlook 2007 and recieved by 2003. The communication between Outlook 2007 users, 2003->2003 and 2003->2007 is ok. I searched a little bit and I found the problem, which is that Outlook 2007 formats the plain text in the body as HTML and the URLs cannot be read as hyperlinks by Outllok 2003. However, I am not aware how to deal with this problem. Is there something that I can programatically do, like for instance modify the email envelope with JScript, or there is something in the Outllok setting which needs to be changed ?

Hopefully someone can give me a hint!
