The problem I am having is that when the hardcopies aren't required, that same field need to contain N/A which mean that the field need to be set as a string but when I set it as a string the now() information comes out as "2012-01-10T08:34:54" and I need it to read as "10-Jan-2012 08:34am".

any though on how to resolve this?

Thanks you,
