I don't know. I think this could be a limitation of Access. Obviously, you could use a SQL based solution and a Web Service to submit the forms. we have a lot of people using that kind of a service-oriented-architecture to solve their business process automations.

Collecting Data via Infopath Form Embedded in Outlook Email populating Access DB Table

I am new to the use of Infopath as a data collection tool, but do have experience with Access.

Recently I began using the Create E-Mail function within Access to collect data through an Infopath form emailed out to our remote recipients to collect data to populate a table. The issue I seem to be running into is that the emails do not funnel through to the 'Access Data Collection' folder established in Outlook unless my Outlook is open and PC left on. Does that make any sense or is there some sort of set-up that I need to correct to allow this to process correctly regardless of whether or not my Outlook is open and/or PC on?

Thanks for any assistance
