Add a new field and call it filename. Set a rule on form open to set that field with the condition IF the field is blank.

That means that the filename will only get set once. If it's already been set, the rule won't execute.

Thanks ErnestoM, Form names are created by dynamically based on the rule MAX(ID) + 1.. Also I have enabled "overwrite" yes.. I know this wont work in edit option.. bcoz it is getting the next id from form library while saving the form and creating one more copy. Is there any way I can achieve this, keeping form name as DYNAMIC...while in edit mode with out creating a new copy ? Thanks Karim

Please check your submit rules. It sounds like a data connection might not have the option to "overwrite if the form exists" checked. Or perhaps the form name is being reset and therefore the existing one not overwritten.
