I currently have InfoPath installed on just the server and am trying to find out if InfoPath would have to be purchased additionally for each computer as well? I initially thought it just had to be on the server. Thanks so much!

Re: Qdabra Electronic Signature using InfoPath 2010

Actually, you could just use a link to the signature image. That should still work in the browser because it isn't an attached image. I think that's what Mel meant in her post.

At any rate, Qdabra has a 30-day guarantee. If you aren't satisfied, you can get a full refund.

Qdabra Electronic Signature using InfoPath 2010

I read this "One Caveat for those of you that want to use this with InfoPath 2007 browser enabled forms: InfoPath 2007 browser forms do not support picture controls (InfoPath 2010 forms do). So, instead of using both the signature picture and the DisplaySignedBy field, you will only be able to use the DisplaySignedBy field. In most cases, this workaround is just fine, since it takes up less room on the page and fits the same purpose."from this link http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/mel_balsamo/archive/2009/03/03/electronic-signature-template-part.aspx and had more questions about the Qdabra Electronic Signature. Is the DisplaySignedBy field that will only display if using InfoPath 2007 just the part that says "Signed by John Smith on 2009-02-24 at 22:46:31"? I'm trying to find out the exact differences of Qdabra with InfoPath 2007 vs. InfoPath 2010 before my company purchases the software. I've decided that the company will only require the electronic signature instead of using a digital id/certificate. If using InfoPath 2010 but a 2007 compatable form in MOSS 2007 will the picture signature appear or not because it was from IP 2010 but its a 2007 compatable form? Any help is greatly appreciated so I can figure out my next step. Because I might end up trying to upgrade to IP 2010 and MOSS 2010 instead. Thanks!
