I would like to hide this field when the user views an item and provide a link or button which when clicked displays or expands the field. <br /> This needs to happen in the form the user sees when displaying the item - not in the form when editing the item. Unfortunately so far I was only able to build such solutions which require to user to click the &#39;Edit&#39; button in the ribbon first. </span></p><p><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"> </font><span style="font-size:10pt;">I am simply looking for a solution for this issue. I tried a button or checkbox and the rule. Which works but only if I click on &#39;Edit&#39; first. I also created a second view.. one where the field is displayed and in the other it is not.....again I have to click on the &#39;Edit&#39; button in the ribbon first before I am able to see the &#39;View&#39; menu.
