Live support is not free but I'm sure you will be happy with it and if not, we'll refund your money.

Just go to Qdabra (dot) com (sponsor of this site) and click on Support link at the top of the main page. Purchase one support pack and send email to Support (at) Qdabra (dot) com and someone will schedule a Live Meeting tomorrow or the next day. I look forward to talking with you.

Another option would be to attach your XSN and we can have someone look at it free-of-charge for 15-30 minutes. Not sure that we can get it working in that amount of time but we'll take a look.

Re: Getting values from one repeating table to populate another repeating table?

How do I get live support. : )

Re: Getting values from one repeating table to populate another repeating table?

You just need another pivot or an index based on expense type into your other data field.
We have a repeating table that contains information for expenses such as Price, Expense Type, Item, Comments, Etc. This repeating table is spaced out, and intended to be easy to read (with room for picture attachments for receipts). This is all well and good from a user input standpoint. Of course the items are going ACROSS the X axis of the form.

What she wants is - a summary table up top that is only showing the Expense Types along the top (as an x axis heading), and the prices for the appropriate expense types going down under the heading along the y axis. Basically a grid, with the totals at the bottom.

It needs to look something like this -

Expense Type 1 | Expense Type 2 | Expense Type 3

          $45 | $0 | $0

           $0 | $73 | $0

          $23 | $0 | $0

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

           $78 $73 $0

Now how the hell do I populate just a filtered price (filtered on expense type) into a repeating table from a repeating table? I've been able to filter the price correctly under the appropriate category, but I can't get it to add more than one line item from the source.

Help!
