I made a little test InfoPath Form that duplicates the problem. These values come in by Default from SharePoint. Used one as a text field, another as a rich text field.

If you display the SharePoint data in a repeating table in your form, does the O'Donnel name show up correctly, or does it display as O'Donnel?

O'Donnel as O'Donnel

Hello,

I am pulling in the user from SharePoint using the following example:

http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/itaysk/archive/2007/04/05/InfoPath-_2D00_-Get-the-current-user-without-writing-code.aspx

It works brilliantly, but we have just noticed for people with ' (apostrophe) in their names it screws up when pulling from SharePoint.

Any ideas how to fix? Do I just put a substitute text around Value[Name = "PreferredName"] ??

Thx!
