If you open the SharePoint site in Internet Explorer, what security zone is it in?
I have a form (2007) which has been running for the last 6 weeks or so. In the last couple of days I have had a problem with many users getting an Access deinied error message.

The form is a SharePoint Content type. The users are able to open the form. The first thing that the form does is generate a sequential number (I do this using the technique Hilary described in http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/hilary/archive/2008/11/21/fun-with-sequential-form-ids-sql-and-sprocs.aspx) This worked really well.

When I open the form in preview (from my desktop)- everything works ok. When I publish the form to sharepoint and open the form (same pc, same username) get the following message.

The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: GenerateGUID
InfoPath cannot run the specified query.
InfoPath cannot connect to the data source.
Access is denied.
Access is denied.
I have not changed the form. I have not changed the permissions on the SQL Database

This is not the only form which is has developed an issue. I have discovered a second form. Different sharepoint site, different sql database. From my PC in preview mode it works fine. From published form, (same pc same user name) I get

The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: CheckForExisting
InfoPath cannot run the specified query.
Access is denied.

I have republished both forms with Full trust and the errors go away.

It feels like some change to our environment - but I really don't know what to start looking for. I could just leave the forms as full trust (I do have a certificate) but I would prefer to understand the issue. Could any one suggest places for me to look/ things to look for ?

Thank you .
