What you are looking for sounds much simpler than what I use, but setting it up is essentially the same.

Are you currently using code on your form? If so, which one? Or is your form browser based?

Re: Keeping a running log of who made what changes tio an InfoPath form...

I don't think these is an easy way to do that. You want to show these informations on your form, so you can enabled versionning and use some code on your form to get this information with web services and show it on your form.

Re: Keeping a running log of who made what changes tio an InfoPath form...

I do use SharePoint, and I know that I can use versioning. The thing is that I want all the information to show up inside the form. The reason is that these forms will be submitted thousands of times a year by people in a large company. So I want people to continue to see the progress on their own request. I know I can give them a webn page that filters for their requests, but I thought it might be easier for them to keep a link to thier request and come back in and see the progress.

Re: Keeping a running log of who made what changes tio an InfoPath form...

Hi marcelmeth, Do you use SharePoint to store your form?

If yes, you can use the SharePoint versionning to keep this information.

Keeping a running log of who made what changes tio an InfoPath form...

I am using a single form to allow multiple users to come in and fill out various parts of the form.

I need to create a status page that indicates which user has submitted the form, each time a user submits the form.

How can I create a list that shows everytime the form has been submitted?

For example:

User 1 - Initial Submit 12/26/2010 - 10:06 AM

User 2 - Submitted Engineering Requirements - 12/28/2010 - 09:12 PM

User 3 - Fullfilled Engineering Drawings - 12/30/2010 - 12:06 PM
