Thanks Hilary never thought of doing it that way. If i could steal a little more knowledge from you. I was wondering is there a way to set the value in one form into another form when I use the open form command? (form 1 textbox A = form 2 text box A). I think it has something to do with merging but I have no idea on where to start. I was hoping it could be done with rules. I would appreciate anything you could give me on this!

Hi:

If you add a rule that switches views and submits using an email connection, you get a blank email. Not too great.

You can use sections in a single view -- one containing the controls for the user, the other containing your email "view". Add a field to your form that is a True/False field, have it default to false. When the person submits (or clicks the button to send, or whatever your form is doing design-wise) have a rule that first sets that field to true, then emails, then sets it to false. Then you can use conditional formatting -- your 'fill out' section is hidden when the field is true, your 'email' section is hidden when your field is false....

I have a form that contains a view that one group fills out and then they send the form to another person as an attachment and they have another view that has more fields they add to it. Is there a way to send a certain view as an email?
