I'm not sure of a good way to print all of the data source -- I suppose you could just expand it and take screenshots, or save the form as source files and look at the template.xml file....

Re: field names

thank you Hilary

Is there a way to print all the the data source or the field names in a form template? Also, is there an upper limit to the length of the fieldname?

Re: field names

Per this article at Office Online:

Field or group names cannot contain spaces. They must begin with an
alphabetic character or underscore ("_"), and they can only contain alphanumeric
characters, underscores, hyphens ("-"), and periods (".").

I tend to like highly descriptive field names (and tend to error on the side of longer rather than shorter names) and generally capitalize everything except attributes. I'd be interested to hear the practices of others for field naming, however.

field names

how long can field names be and what characters are allowed /disallowed in field names

Are there any suggestions/recommendations regarding field names
