The system I'm currently putting together is a "reach-only" solution. All access will be via browser with no clients using the InfoPath client.
Re: ScreenTip in browser-enabled form

Hi MylesRip,

There is no way to access the ScreenTip programmatically, either through code or the designer. This is annoying and last week at the MVP Global Summit I let several members of the InfoPath team at Microsoft know that they should really expose these things as part of the object model.

Lastly, I really doubt that ScreenTips will work in browser-enabled forms since it would take quite a bit of AJAX to do that, and browser forms are just not that developed.

ScreenTip in browser-enabled form

Hi,

Is it possible to set the ScreenTip in code (other than for a button)? Currently I can use the designer to set the ScreenTip for a control to a text string. I have a repeating table that is bound to the main data source. In one of the columns I have a text box bound to a field. I would like to have the ScreenTip for the text box display the value of a related field on the same record. Can this be made to work in a browser-enabled form template?

Thanks in advance!
