Apparently there was some shading on the form - the problem was that on my pc the shading appeared 'white' however on my laptop it was 'light blue'. I can only guess that it was using a colour that could not be displayed by my pc or on my monitor.

Thank you anyway.

Re: Some users experiencing a 'glitch' with infopath forms

I have attached a jpeg of the screenshot - however as i've said the problem is that even screenshots appear differently depending on the system. On my laptop the blue highlighting glitch is shown but on my pc it is not.

It makes me think that it must be a display issue but i've checked the settings and I can't see any obvious differences (apart from the graphics card of course).

Edit - Sorry to confuse matters but the blue shading of the 'labels' is intentional. The 'glitch' is in the right hand column.

Re: Some users experiencing a 'glitch' with infopath forms

Can you attach some screenshots showing the form rendered correctly and incorrectly? So i have both my pc and laptop displaying the same file at the same time - the pc is fine whilst the laptop has the shading.

Even weirder; I took a print screen and the highlighting appears on the laptop but not on the pc - this is a print screen!!

I have to sort this out otherwise the form is basically useless - it wont be allowed to be sent out to the general employee base whilst the glitch remains.

Re: Some users experiencing a 'glitch' with infopath forms

Hi, if you are sure of there is no conditionnal formatting your issue is probably local.
I am using Infopath 2007 - the form is opened from a network location and then submitted to approvers via e-mail data connections (so no need for IE).

I am using XP and so will almost of of the users (some may have W7).

I have conditionnal formatting throughout the form. However 95% of this simply hides sections depending on the given criteria. I have no conditional formating on the cells containing the headers that get highlighted in blue.

Re: Some users experiencing a 'glitch' with infopath forms

Hi, can you give some detail please, do you use Infopath form server or infopath rich client ?
However some are reporting a 'glitch' within the form that i'm unable to fix. Apparently when they view the form some of the cells have a 'blue highlght'; similar to what you'd see if you highlighted the cells manually. Whatever they do it doesn't get rid of the blue highlight. When they send it to me though the highlight isn't shown.

Even odder - they've pdf'd the form and sent it to me and the blue shading is viewable when they open the pdf but not when I do.

This is sending me a bit crazy as I have no idea what is doing it. I have experienced the problem myself at earlier design phases but everything seems to work fine now.

Can anyone help?
