It is URN based instead of URL based--meaning, if the name stays the same, the forms will still open.

I believe there are tools that can be run on the local forms that will allow them to be updated to the new URL.

Manteinance of old forms

Hi All,
I have published months ago a InfoPath 2003 SP2 template in a sharepoint site and it works fine. We have thousands of forms referring all that template.

Now we url of address is to change...so it means that thousands forms in the users' pc cannot be opened in future? Or the template locally saved by InfoPath will be used to open the forms? New PCs will not be able to open old forms?

What a mess this InfoPath! :)
