There may be a non-code solution - you can add several hundred default rows (blank) to your sample data (Tools->Sample Data) and use a condition defined on each row that uses xpath position() function to conditionally hide individual rows based on number present in another field. I.e. if (my:count < position()) then hide display. Good luck!

Create table rows from given range

Hi,

I have a paper based form that is used stock tracking. I have been working on converting this form to an electronic version.

The problem i'm having is that i need to generate the rows of a table to a user defined range.

EG: The user enters a start number of 10 and a end number of 50. I need infopath to create 40 rows within a table so the user can then populate the table with data.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or at least tell me which operations i should be using.

Thanks.
