Luckily i've found that there is a simple menu option within the file menu that lets you do this (well embarrasingly my non-technical boss found it for me).

Now i'm trying to work out if I can add the menu action to a button within the form (see new post created!!!).

Re: Adding form details to an e-mail

you can use email submit connection to send the form via mail, as you mentioned the process is not fully clear, so as of now you can give a text field in which user needs to fill in the email id of the next actor. Also for the comments you can give a text box in which users can write their comments.

Adding form details to an e-mail

Hi,

I am currently designing an infopath form which will eventually be sent round various approvers before going to the actioner as part of a predefined workflow. However for the moment the business process is unclear so I actually for now I just want individuals to fill in the form and send it to people manually. For approval purposes it reallly needs to be part of an e-mail so that managers can reply with their approval and it is all contained in one e-mail chain.

I was wondering what the best way of doing this is? I assume that I can't simply copy and paste the form into a mail? Is there a way of creating a pdf of the form and then including that in the e-mail? Can I mail merge someway?

Thanks in advance for assitance.
