http://blogs.msdn.com/b/infopath/archive/2007/01/10/implementing-roles-in-browser-forms.aspx

Form & Approval Rrestrictions

I have a basic request form with pull downs, check boxes, text field, etc. The requets form MUST be approved by at least 1 level of management and possibly 2. The approval/signoffs must be part of the form so that it can archived for auditing purposes. To preserve the integreity of the form and the approvals, I am wondering what is the best way to build the approval sections. The form is loaded into Sharepoint 200y environment for initiating. Right now, I have a 3-section form with the part 1 to be completed by the initiator; part 2 by 1st level Mgmt, and part 3 by 2nd level mgmt.

My issues incliude:

Only those managers who can sign off in Part 2 should be able to access/change any of the fields in this section. And only those managers who can sign off in Part 3 should be able to access/change any of the fields in this section.

Anyt suggestions, tutorials/ samples ... are welcomed.

Thanks
