Apparently my "Sales Group" was set as default.

Sorry I love Infopath but this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Why should the default override the rule I put in place so that I must make it the opposite?

Infopath is a great product but this needs fixed.

User roles work in reverse

I don't know if this is a bug or not.

I am using User Roles. The strange part is on a submit everything works normally. Basically, I put a rule that says if you are a member of a certain group you can submit the data. That works perfectly. The problem arises when you attempt to the roles for other things. Essentially to get the role to work correctly I must choose the opposite of what I wish to happen. For Example: I have a role called Sales Manager, which I wish to be able to query the database. To get it to work I must create a rule that says if the user is NOT the role "Sales Manager" query the database. The rule should say if the user is the "Sales Manager" query the database not the other way around.

Any ideas?
