I'm afraid you'll have to change your main data source. You'll need to move your group bound to the table into a repeating group. Here's a link to Office Online that may help you with this. If it doesn't help, post back and under the Options tab attach your form template, so someone can help you re-arrange things.
So you know, if you change the main data source of a form and users have already been using the form, you may experience data loss.

Repeating Table duplicating data problem

Hello,
Initially, I had a form filled out where users are to enter data about their school, class codes, etc. Anyway, After creating the form, I find out that it must be set up so that multiple students can be entered at once. i thought the simple solution would be to copy+paste the table from the form (with all of my text boxes, drop downs, etc. included) into a repeating table. That worked, and upon previewing it and trying to "add an additional student" a new form would show up. Nice. upon closer look, though, that when i entered data in the second section (the one that i inserted through the repeating table function) it would change the data in the first section. I played around with the binding rules and such, and no luck. I am still pretty new to InfoPath, but I am loving it so far! If anyone can help out at all or give me a tip on the proper direction to go in, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Joshua A.
