What about weekends? Do Saturday and Sunday get excluded?

2. The same can be asked about holidays, which might be different in different states or countries.

If you were to ignore weekend and Holidays, then yes, it should be possible via managed code or qRules' DateDiff to calculate the difference in days and difference in hours.

What are your thoughts on the two issues I've mentioned?

Calculating dates and time for total

Hello,

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have an infopath form that I use with MOSS 2007, its a leave request form. I have 4 different fields for dates and times...

field 1. start date (date picker) - datatype (Date)

field 2. start time (drop down list in 15 minute increments) - datatype (Time)

field 3. end date (date picker) - datatype (Date)

field 4. end time (drop down list in 15 minute increments) - datatype (Time)

I have another field that I want to display the total number of days requested, including partial days (example, 1.5 days)

can anyone assist in pointing me in the right direction?

thanks,

Donnie
