I'm glad you found the HowTo useful!

What problems are you having with the layout tables? As far as I know, this would be the best route to take. You might try nesting tables within tables, this presents more flexibility.

For number 2, I think multiple views is the only way this can be accomplished. With enough tweaking (using images, etc.) you can make a tabbed content pane that looks GREAT.

---------------
Matt Faus
InfoPath Dev Texas
Can I have side-by-side or overlapping sections?

Can anyone suggest how I could have sections that are:

1. Side-by-side (I know I can do this with layout tables but this presents other problems to me).

2. Overlapping (i.e. one "behind" another), with buttons/tabs/links used to "activate" one of the sections and bring it to the top. I saw one suggestion using multiple views inhttp://www.infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=7810fbeb7db6415e8b6d96a4a2bfd005, and was wondering if it can be done within same view.

Thanks,

- Shaul

P.S. If both of these sound weird, I am thinking of using InfoPath as a GUI to fill a form, where both the data entry GUI and resulting form are InfoPath sections.
