Search the .NET documentation on MSDN for clipboard and it will probably have a method to put items on the clipboard. I've been looking for snipets of code to give me an idea on how to grab data from fields on an infopath form and put them onto the clipboard but haven't had any luck. I basically plan on putting code behind a button and clicking it to put data onto the clipboard. Can you point me in a direction where I may get an idea of how to write this?

Re: Copy to Clipboard

Hi Lucian,
Have you looked into at writing some .NET code behind the form to do this?

Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP]
InfoPathDev

Copy to Clipboard

From my Infopath forms I want to be able to copy different fields to the windows clipboard using a button. This is primarily so I can create labels in a different application for the label printer. For example contact name field, address field, suburb field, zip code field needs to be copied to the clipboard in a formatted fashion so when I press ctrl V the information will paste on the label.

Cheers
Lucian
