Infopath 2003 - Cleanup OriginalData to submit the records as new instead of update

Hi,

I am trying to create a form which tracks employees to enter their time for each week with assigned projects. I have a feature that allows the users to copy previous week's data and show them as the next week. However when I submit it to Access DB, it updates the previous week's data with next week's date. so it overwrites my previous week's data instead of creating new records with next week's date. I know the xml that gets submitted to DB has the OriginalData as references and that is why it is overwriting data instead of creating new records.

I need to somhow in VBScript cleanup the data in the OriginalData in the XML before submitting that to DB, that way it creates new records instead of updates to existing records.

I am using Infopath 2003 SP3. and I need to see if this can be done via VBScript code on button click to clear out data in the originaldata tag.
