But don't adding views to the template make the XSN file bigger, with more startup time? How the dimension and complexity of XSL view involves startup time and edit time?

Thank u!

Re: again about perfomance

Try splitting up your one big view into several smaller views. To do this and keep the user happy with a clean interface you could consider creating a tabbed content pane. Check out this HowTo I just wrote to do just that:
<br /http://infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=7810fbeb7db6415e8b6d96a4a2bfd005

Besides that, there are several tricks (that I think you have found) talked about throughout this forum.

---------------
Matt Faus
InfoPath Dev Texas
again about perfomance

Hi all,
yeah...this is another post about perfomance:
in my environment Infopath forms are very big (>> 1Mb): so there's startup delay and edit delay (Form slow after user makes a change...types in field, tabs out).
All InfoPath are SP2 and forms have 1 view, no data source query, but with a certain number of ddls (populated by nodes in the form), textboxes, 1 repeating table...
I read previous topics and so I made this changes:
-reduce number of events binding them to higher nodes
-filtering events on the basis of type of event (Insert or Delete)

help using less colors, titles, font and other decorations?

Any suggestons?
