You are limited to the 255 characters of a text field.
I suppose a workaround would be to use a web service to submit the data, or to split the data up into two fields requiring the user to enter extra data in a second field (not an elegant solution).
Anyone else have a more simple solution?

Re: New to infopath and memo fields

Little confused. I can tell you meant to say memo, not meme :-) Although an InfoPath field does not have a max character length unless you specify one in the textbox's properties. A text value in InfoPath should be able to insert or updat to a memo field in Access. Please clarify if I missed the point.

New to infopath and memo fields

I have my first form hooked to access.

I need the field to except more than 255 char, what I have been reading is that the field can not be of type meme.

Anyone have a workaround?

Thanks,
Rick
