Could you recommend any book or web site that could hold my hand through implementing code like the one you suggested above. ie a dummies introduction to coding Something that would give me a clear grasp of the concepts. Or am I asking too much?

Thanks

Bob

Re: Print after submit

Looks like you are on this Site, it is a good start!
Start there:<br /http://www.infopathdev.com/resources/default.aspx

Good luck and don't hesitate to come back and ask questions if you are stuck.

Regards,

Franck Dauché
InfoPathDev

Re: Print after submit

I will give this a try. I am a "newbie" with nil programming background. I have built a database for our department and now have added an infopath form so our users can submit data to the database. I have struggled with infopath combined with and/or my lack of technical background. However I have a very effective and user friendly form for our staff to submit data to the database. Quite proud of myself.

Now looks like I should look at developing my knowledge of code. Where do you suggest I start?

Re: Print after submit

Hi,

Did you try: thisXDocument.PrintOut();

Regards,

Franck Dauché
InfoPathDev

Print after submit

I would like to know is there a way to have the print view automatically printed after data is sucessfully submitted to a database.

Should I post this topic in the code section?

Regards
