Over the past 2 weeks we've had a few complaints from users in regards to InfoPath forms which are emailed. The forms were setup with the Submit Options to "Send only the active view with no attachments" and seems to break somewhere in the fowarding of the actual email.

Scenario #1: The form was submitted by User A from the web via email to user B. User B forwarded the email to User C saying they approved the request. User C forwarded the request back to User A saying they approved the request. When User A received the string of emails back with the approvals, the data from the form was "missing" from the email body. The actual text from the fields along with the title of the field was stored in individual .htm attachments to the email. (ie. ATT00001.htm - ATT00021.htm)

Scenario #2: The form was submitted by User A from the web via email to User B. User B forwarded the email to User C saying they approved the request. User C forwarded the email to User D saying they approved the request. User D replied back to User C saying they approved the request. Somewhere along the line the email string broke and the body of the email no longer showed the actual text entered from the form...instead it started showing things such as [cid:image019.png@01CA9E5B.C96CE550] and [cid:image002.png@01CA9DDC.6AB7B230].
